One claim, one evidence trail
Every benefit or safety statement must trace to a source that supports the exact species, mushroom material, preparation, population, dose, duration, and outcome. We do not treat a mechanism, animal experiment, traditional use, or seller claim as proof of a human health benefit.
Required separations
- Culinary food is not the same as a concentrated supplement.
- Fruiting body, mycelium, spores, sclerotium, whole powder, and extracts are not interchangeable.
- Traditional use is history, not clinical proof.
- A biomarker is not automatically a benefit a person can feel or use.
- Ingredient research does not prove a finished product contains the same material, dose, purity, or effect.
Balanced reporting
We report null results, withdrawals, adverse events, funding, conflicts, sample size, and uncertainty beside positive findings. Headings, summaries, tables, and images must not make a stronger claim than the body evidence.
Regulatory accuracy
FDA and FTC guidance is described precisely. We do not call dietary supplements “FDA approved,” say they are wholly unregulated, use the dietary-supplement label disclaimer as proof, or imply that a quality seal establishes clinical effectiveness.
Commercial separation and corrections
Common ownership with Pilly Labs is disclosed. Commercial interests do not set evidence grades. Material errors receive a visible dated correction; uncertain claims are held rather than filled with plausible language.
